DETOXIFICATION OFF SITE PROGRAM
Your treatment will begin with detoxification which is the process of safely getting drug/alcohol out of your system.
We provide off site detoxification in excelents hospitals with medical supervision and twenty – four hours nursing care.
The primary objective of detoxification is to relieve withdrawal symptoms while patients adjust to a drug free state.
Detoxification without other treatments has not been found to be effective in maintaining sobriety.
Not
in itself a treatment for addiction, detoxification is a useful step
only when it leads into long – term treatment that is either drug –
free ( residential or outpatient ) or uses medications as part of the
treatment.
The best documented drug - free treatments are the therapeutic community residential programs lasting at least 1 to 3 months.
DRUG/ALCOHOL DETOXIFICATION PROTOCOLS
The
treatment usually takes from 3 to 7 days but patients will be
discharged as soon as the doctor in charge evaluates that he/she can be
in rehabilitation without danger to him/her self or to other patients
or clinical staff .
