Eating disorders are classified as a group of serious eating problems and/or obsessions whereby you are so preoccupied with food and weight that you can often focus on little else.

People with eating disorders often abuse alcohol, prescription and recreational drugs to numb themselves emotionally, to escape fear and  the grip of depression,

There are a variety of concerns within the spectrum of eating disorders. From the intense restriction of anorexia to the painful over consumption of compulsive overeating, there are emotional and psychological roots behind these behaviors.

Through our team approach, we will work with you regarding medical concerns, nutritional needs, physical fitness/wellbeing, being, and counseling for emotional and psychological balance.

With cognitive behavior therapy, we will identify dysfunctional beliefs about self, address feelings of shame, guilt, anger, sadness, focus on concerns of self-esteem and sense of control, recognize eating behavior triggers, and develops healthy coping strategies for stress.
